MISSION STATEMENT
“The parents’ association exists for the purpose of serving Normandy Park Preschool through parent involvement in the following areas: to support programs, activities, and educational opportunities, and to raise funds for the purpose of supporting educational programs and needs, capital improvements, school functions, operating budgets, and other requests made by the preschool on an as-needed basis.”
ABOUT THE NPPPCA
A non-profit charitable organization with 501c3 status
Both a fundraising body and social group.
Past fundraisers include toy sale, wreath sale, babysitting night & rummage sale.
Has provided preschool with supplies, replaced old or damaged materials (ie the “sensory table”), bought new gym equipment, provided tuition assistance to families in need, sponsored activities such as pumpkin-carving night, Nancy Stewart concert, thank you dinner for volunteers.
Supports goals and events planned by preschool staff.
Welcomes all parental involvement and seeks new ideas for improving the preschool experience.
Board meets once a month - meetings open to all parents/school staff.
(It’s all very casual. Just come and have a good time!)
